Human rights in Sri Lanka and the 34th session of the UN Human Rights Council

The debate on Human Rights in Sri Lanka and the 34th session of the UN Human Rights Council to be moved by the Chair of APPG for Tamils, James Berry MP for Kingston and Surbiton.

We kindly request all APPG for Tamils members and the MPs to attend this debate on behalf of your constituents and the Tamil Community in the UK.

The current government of Sri Lanka is reverting back on its own commitment to the UN Human Rights Council in Sep 2015. The Tamil victims in Sri Lanka need the help of the International Community and the UK government more than ever to get justice for 146, 667 Tamil civilian who are still unaccounted for.
